Humans must obtain L-threonine from dietary sources such as beef, poultry and fish or dairy products. Some vegetable sources of L-threonine include leafy vegetables, lentils and sesame seeds, although they have much less L-threonine than meat. The human body uses L-threonine to support the production of connective tissue and to support bone plus liver health as well as the immune system.

This means that L-Threonine may support the growth of healthy connective tissue – especially in the heart. Through its role in antibody production, L-threonine is a great support for the important body defences which is composed of specialised cells, proteins, tissue and organs. The immune system defends us against invaders, such as viruses and bacteria. As L-threonine plays a role in the production of antibodies, it assists in boosting this important natural defence mechanism. L-threonine also may support liver health by helping to minimise the accumulation of fats around the organs as well as bone health by the production of collagen. Directions of Use

As a dietary supplement for general health take up to 2gm with your favourite beverage between meals. Synergistic nutrients are magnesium, B6 and niacin.
