Mega Iron contains iron diglycinate (Meta Fe®) which is gentle on the stomach and the active form of folate (5-MTHF). To help prevent iron deficiency, a healthy and balanced diet is essential. Good sources of iron include red meat, green vegetables, nuts and grains. Especially pregnant and menstruating women, growing children, athletes in training, vegetarians and vegans have a greater need for iron, as iron is lost from the body through sweat, shedding intestinal cells, and blood loss. Ethical Nutrients Mega Iron is a great source of iron diglycinate to help minimise deficiency.
