Who is Axe & Sledge?

Axe & Sledge is an American brand built around the daily grind - blue-collar branding, hard-dosed formulas, and a reputation for fully disclosed labels. Every product is named like a tool, and the range is tighter than most imports.

Hydraulic is the one it is known for: a stimulant-free pump pre-workout, now in a V2, and one of the better-regarded products in that category anywhere. Seventh Gear is the high-stimulant counterpart, Ignition Switch the moderate one, Demo Day and Intake All-in-One cover the rest of the pre-workout shelf.

Farm Fed WPI is the protein - a whey isolate sold in two versions - with Whey More alongside it and Home Made Meal Replacement for the food end. The Grind and The Grind EAAs handle aminos, Dozer the evening, and 212 Thermo, Fyred and GDA+ the fat loss and nutrient partitioning end. ManPower is the men's formula.

Frequently asked questions

Why is Hydraulic so well regarded?

Because it does one thing properly. It is a pump formula with no stimulants, dosed openly, and it does not try to also be an energy product - which means you can stack it on whatever stimulant pre-workout you already use without adding caffeine. That combination is rarer than it should be. V2 is the current formula; compare the panels, as both are still sold.

Hydraulic or Seventh Gear?

Different jobs. Hydraulic is pump and no stimulants. Seventh Gear is the high-stimulant energy one. Plenty of people own both and take Hydraulic on evening sessions or stack the two on a heavy day. If you only want one and train in the morning, Ignition Switch is the middle ground.

What is a glucose disposal agent?

GDA+ is meant to improve how your body handles a carbohydrate load - taken with a large carbohydrate meal. It is a fairly advanced and fairly debated category, and it is a long way down the list of things that matter. Protein, creatine, training and sleep first.

Is Farm Fed WPI worth the price?

It is a genuine whey isolate with a disclosed label from a brand with a good reputation, which is what you are paying for. If budget matters more than provenance, our Whey Protein Isolates range has cheaper isolates that do the same nutritional job.
