Senna leaf is a great herbal remedy that is believed to work as a laxative. It stimulates the rhythmic muscular contraction of the colon which pushes food through the gut. Buckthorn Bark is another herbal laxative that may helps in relieving constipation. Each capsule contains:
- Senna leaf: 284 mg.
- Rhamnus frangula (Buckthorn) bark: 23 mg.
- Psyllium husk dry: 6 mg.
- Anethum graveolens (Dill) seed: 6 mg.
- Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root: 6 mg.
Free from wheat, gluten, yeast, milk derivatives, lactose, artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
- Adults: Take 1 to 2 tablets daily.
- Drink plenty of water.
Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea. Not to be used when pregnant or breastfeeding. Use in children under 12 years is not recommended.
