Activated Folate 500 by Herbs of Gold
Herbs of Gold Activated Folate 500
Activate your body with Herbs of Gold Activated Folate 500. Each capsule contains Quatrafolic®, a glucosamine salt providing 500mcg 5-MTHF, the metabolically active form of folate. Folate (vitamin B9) is one of the 13 essential vitamins your body needs to stay active and to function properly.
- Methylfolate (5-MTHF).
- Great during pregnancy: Healthy foetal development.
- Cardiovascular health.
5-MTHF does not only support women during their pregnancy but people with lower activity of the MTHFR enzyme, intestinal or liver dysfunction, or individuals whose genetic makeup makes it difficult to convert folic acid into active 5-MTHF. It’s a good alternative to folic acid supplementation as it does not mask vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms. It also regulates a class of neurotransmitters and it contributes to the production of serotonin, melatonin, epinephrine, and norepinephrine, and pleasure hormones, and can support healthy mood. Herbs of Gold Activated Folate 500 supports brain health, cognitive function and memory as well as cardiovascular health by reducing homocysteine levels in the body. It also assists red blood cell production, the creation of neurotransmitters and fetal development. By providing the body with serotonin and pleasure hormone production, Activated Folate 500 supports your emotional well-being.
