This vegan-friendly formula contains the most bioactive form of vitamin D (D3) to support bone mineralisation. It is derived from lichen to support absorption of dietary calcium and it maintains healthy teeth, muscle strength and immune system function.

Vitamin D3 1000 is especially beneficial for pregnant or breastfeeding women as it supports healthy pregnancy and healthy foetal development. It is suggested that supplementing vitamin D during breastfeeding can be useful to increase an infant's vitamin D status. Vitamin D is essential for strong bones, as it helps the body use calcium from the diet. A diet deficient in calcium, such as strict vegan diets, can lead to osteoporosis in later life. Most of the natural calcium sources are animal-based, including fish, egg yolks, fortified milk, and beef liver. Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency may include bone pain and muscle weakness. Herbs of Gold Vitamin D3 1000 supplies the body with the great benefits of vitamin D3 by supplying just the right amount per capsule.
