Traditionally used in Eastern European and Western medicine, horseradish is a pungent plant remedy that is known to relieve respiratory mucus and nasal congestion and catarrh of the respiratory tract. Garlic is a great little helper for all sorts of health related issues – this is why Herbs of Gold has made it to an important component in the Hayfever & Sinus Ease formula. It does not only help to support and maintain a healthy immune system, but in combination with horseradish it has a mucolytic action which is used to aid the clearance of congestion and catarrh in the respiratory tract and nasal passages. Eyebright is traditionally used to relieve hayfever and mild sinusitis, nasal catarrh and excess mucus discharges. Together with vitamin C baical scullcap, a herb native to China, it provides anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity that helps relieve allergies. All these components play an important role in balancing healthy histamine levels so you can enjoy yourself a little more without having to worry about a runny and itchy nose.
